There’s nothing more magical than a childhood spent outdoors. I used to spend hours exploring local creeks with my friends. We would take off our shoes and wade in the water, searching for fish and tad poles. Sometimes we would even pretend we were explorers, discovering a new piece of land. So when M told me that she and her two boys were going to spend their morning at a local creek, I couldn’t help but get excited. The brothers were genuinely curious about their environment even though it wasn’t new to them. They were excited. They ran. They observed. They splashed. And they got dirty. It was a true joy to witness their carefree morning.
